Meet your Speech-Language Pathologist

Hello! My name is Delaney Shandy and I am the owner and Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) of Sprout Speech Studio, LLC.

I have been practicing as an SLP since 2023. and I have previous experience working in various elementary schools and clinics. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MA-SLP) from Wichita State University.

I am fully licensed through the state of Kansas and credentialed through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I also hold additional trainings in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding and the Acceptance, Exposure, Independence, Observation, and Understanding approach to Pediatric Feeding.

My passion has always been to help children find their voice and to build meaningful connections through communication. I enjoy working with all children of various needs to help them reach their full potential. I love working in a variety of areas within the field such as speech sound disorders, early language development, alternative communication, and feeding challenges.

My passions outside of speech therapy are reading, crafting, building Legos, playing pickle ball, and I’m an avid Bungee Fit-er. I’m also a big animal lover! I have a husky, an alaskan malamute, a bearded dragon, and a russian tortoise at home.
